REVIEW ON MICHAEL GARDEN RESTAURANT PORTHARCOURT
Michael garden restaurant is located at Portharcourt pleasure park just before Bori camp.
Last week, I saw a post on twitter from @askphpeople , they posted about Michael garden restaurant on twitter and I loved what I saw and I went there, saw and definitely conquered.
I will be doing a review on them(not a paid review, just my honest opinion).
I went to the newly opened Michael garden restaurant Portharcourt today and I wasn’t disappointed at all.
The moment we walked into Michael Garden restaurant, we were greeted by waitress at the door with a bottle of hand sanitizer(I almost forgot sanitizers are still a thing).
She asked us if we were for the birthday party(Someone was doing her birthday lunch there) we replied no(I went with my sister).
They asked us to pick any table we would love to sit on, we did. We picked a table of six, there weren’t any tables with just two chairs.
They asked if were expecting company and we said no, they cleared the table.
Another waitress brought their catalogue(Very fine looking something, it was looking like a photo album).I was already screaming, Ha!! This people should not kill us with their prices ooo, as the catalogue was looking so fine ass. Guess what they didn’t kill us.
I looked through every page of their catalogue and their food was quite affordable, apart from a few that were a bit DEAR.
We finally picked what we wanted and while it was been prepared, the waitress came with something that looks like biscuits but It was actually toast breast, and a paste(the paste had a serious garlic smell) . I tasted it and it was nice, we ate all, but we left the sauce for them.
The waitress said our order was taking more time, she brought ice cream(it was on the house) I love freebies.
Some minutes later, our order was ready and we were served.
The chicken was really crisp, the french fries fried to perfection, the beef fillet steak was properly cooked and it was soaked in tomato sauce(I really hate fresh tomato sauce or ketchup).
The air conditioner won’t even allow a drop of sweat leave your body, they were playing this fine Latino song in the background. It wasn’t noisy and it wasn’t causing a nuisance. I really love how cozy that place is.MY NAIJA JOLLOF EPISTLE
Beautiful couches, sound proof walls, serene environment, good food, nice waitresses what more could one ask for.
The part I didn’t like was the bottled water. They named it Mineral water and put a bottle at 800 naira.
Like 800 Nigerian Naira, I almost screamed, I had to remember that I was supposed to be poise.
After the food, our Chapman was served, its the best alcoholic Chapman I have ever tasted.
A white man I guess was the Manager kept coming around at intervals to make sure we were comfortable.
Even though our pockets heard it, we left there happy.http://thatblackgirl.net
